Dashboard Tabs and Controls

Welcome gives the friendly overview of your installation and shows basic product information.

Software Info shows platform and version context so you always know exactly which version is running.

Controls is where you install, start, stop, disconnect, or emergency stop. These are the primary operational buttons for managing the GameCatalyst lifecycle.

Status gives health visibility for the important system components — Discovery Server, MCP Bridge, AI Client connection, and Web Relay availability. Each component shows a clear indicator so you can see at a glance whether everything is healthy.

Settings is where you adjust communication preferences, AI behavior parameters, tool permissions, and advanced options like logging levels and diagnostic tools.

Why the status view matters:

The status page is one of the most important practical tools in the product. It helps you see whether the system is healthy, whether the AI client is connected, and whether the relay is available. When something feels off, check status first. It will usually point you toward the issue immediately.
