Here is the process:
- Import GameCatalyst into your Unity project. Open Unity and make sure the package is present in the correct project location.
- Open the Dashboard. Go to Tools > Vexstorm Studios > GameCatalyst > Dashboard.
- Click Install. GameCatalyst validates Python, prepares the central installation directory, installs what it needs, and creates the local databases and core services.
- Click Start. This brings the system online and begins the startup sequence that powers the development workflow.
- Verify health. The Dashboard status indicators should show you that the essential pieces are up and ready.
Why the install flow matters:
GameCatalyst does more than drop a few helper scripts into a folder. It is standing up a complete AI-to-engine orchestration workflow. That is why the Dashboard and status systems matter so much.
System requirements:
- Unity 6000.3.10 or newer (any edition)
- Python 3.10 or later (must be on your system PATH)
- Internet connection for initial installation only
- Approximately 50 MB disk space
