To access the Academy, you must verify your GameCatalyst license with your Unity Asset Store invoice number. This verification process is quick, secure, and ensures that Academy resources are available to legitimate license holders while keeping the content free for everyone who owns GameCatalyst.

How to verify your license:

The verification process takes less than a minute:

1. Log in to vexstorm.com — Use the account you created during registration
2. Go to My Account → Support tab — Click your profile icon in the top-right, then select My Account
3. Find “Verify Your License” section — It’s in the left sidebar under Support
4. Enter your Unity Asset Store invoice number — This is the unique identifier from your purchase
5. Click “Verify License” — The system checks your invoice against Unity’s records
6. Verification completes within seconds — You’ll see a success message immediately
7. You’ll see “Licensed Products: GameCatalyst” displayed — This confirms your license is verified

Where to find your invoice number:

Your Unity Asset Store invoice number is available in two places:

• Unity purchase confirmation email — Search your email for “Unity Asset Store Purchase” or “Invoice” from the date you bought GameCatalyst
• Unity Asset Store account → Order History — Log in to assetstore.unity.com, click your profile, go to Orders, find GameCatalyst, and view the invoice

The invoice number is typically in the format “IN-XXXXXXXXXX” where X represents alphanumeric characters.

What verification unlocks:

Troubleshooting verification issues:

If verification fails, check these common issues:

• Invoice number typo — Double-check you copied the entire number correctly
• Recent purchase — Unity’s systems may take 24-48 hours to sync new purchases. Wait a day and try again.
• Refunded purchase — If you refunded GameCatalyst, the invoice is no longer valid
• Gift or promotional code — Contact support@vexstorm.com for manual verification
